Premium Aquascaping Detail Stones "Dragon Stone" 1 -2 mm
The Premium Aquascaping Detail Stones Dragon Stone in grain size 1 to 2 mm are the finest variant of the GarnelenTv Dragon Stone line. With this very small grain size, you can bring out the last details of your layout and create a credible underwater landscape down to the smallest detail, even in nano aquariums.
Even in this small size, the stones show the typical warm brown to reddish hues of Dragon Stone and retain their characteristic, slightly rugged surface. This creates fine structures that look like a naturally weathered scree field at the foot of a rock formation.
The 1 to 2 mm grain size is particularly well suited for the foreground of an aquascape, for fine transitions between large hardscape elements and the substrate, and for creating small scree slopes and slope collapses. In an Iwagumi or nature aquarium, it can be used to accentuate small areas where the larger stones visually fade into the substrate, an effect that immediately makes a layout look more credible and harmonious.
Since the stones are made from genuine Dragon Stone, their color and appearance exactly match the GarnelenTv Detail Stones Dragon Stone in grain sizes 3 to 7 mm and 8 to 16 mm, as well as the Detail Powder Dragon Stone. This allows you to build a complete Dragon Stone toolkit, from the finest powder for glue joints to the 1 to 2 mm detail grain and larger stones for layout construction.
One pack contains 200 g of Dragon Stone in 1 to 2 mm grain size. This allows you to create a complete detail layout in a nano aquarium or specifically complement fine areas in a larger aquarium. Since Dragon Stone is a natural material, the shape, color nuance, and structure vary slightly from stone to stone, making each pack a unique item.
Made in Germany, the Aquascaping Detail Stones Dragon Stone 1 to 2 mm are suitable for both beginners creating their first layout and experienced aquascapers who want to design their scapes down to the smallest detail.
Recommended use: Rinse the stones briefly before use to remove fine stone dust, then distribute them specifically in the aquarium. Use the fine grain in areas where larger hardscape elements transition into the substrate, or use them to create small scree fields and foreground details. A deliberately irregular distribution looks most natural.
