Premium Nettle Sticks are a high-quality plant-based supplementary food for dwarf shrimp, crayfish, snails, and other invertebrates in freshwater aquariums. The sticks are based on nettle and are ideal for a natural and balanced addition to the feeding plan.

Nettle has been a proven component in shrimp feeding for many years and is readily accepted by shrimp. It provides natural plant ingredients and fiber. Due to the solid stick form, the food sinks quickly to the bottom and remains dimensionally stable for a long time, allowing shrimp to graze on the surface over an extended period without the food immediately dissolving or unnecessarily polluting the aquarium water.

As it rests, a natural biofilm forms on the surface, which is intensively used by both adult and juvenile shrimp. Snails and smaller crayfish also readily accept the Nettle Sticks and benefit from the slow decomposition.

Premium Nettle Sticks are suitable for all common dwarf shrimp species such as Neocaridina and Caridina, and can also be used in breeding and rearing tanks.

Nettle provides plant components that shrimp would also consume in their natural environment. The Premium Nettle Sticks ensure calm feeding and a meaningful, well-tolerated supplement to the daily feeding plan.

Feeding recommendation

Feed one stick per aquarium, depending on the stocking density. The amount should be chosen so that the food is mostly consumed within two to three hours. The sticks can also remain in the aquarium longer if necessary and continue to serve as a grazing surface.

The Nettle Sticks are ideal as a supplementary food and should be offered alternately with other plant-based foods.

Feeding instructions

Store in a dry, cool, and dark place. Feed only as much as the animals can consume. Suitable for freshwater aquariums with shrimp, crayfish, and snails.
